Mosquito nets, also known as long-lasting insecticidal nets (LLINs), provide many benefits in Uganda, including:
Malaria prevention: LLINs are one of the best ways to prevent malaria. They create a physical barrier that keeps mosquitoes away, and the insecticide coating kills any mosquitoes that do get through.
